Bellwood Homes is a vision born on the Westside.
These streets are steeped in history, threading through some of Atlanta’s most storied neighborhoods – Grove Park, Almond Park, Carey Park. Presently, these streets are the threshold of a future of possibilities. Bellwood Homes is committed to weaving the fabric of community on the Westside; investing in a “place” for everyone including long-time residents, new neighbors, or first time explorers.
The most enduring lesson I learned from my mother is that “it takes a village.” I’ve been guided by her words throughout my career, believing that the most worthy pursuits are those built upon a positive place. As CEO of Bellwood Homes, my focus is building purposeful communities in Northwest Atlanta. Transforming buildings and home designed to ensure affordability co-exists with environmental and social responsibility. I recognize that we are all in the community together.
A community needs more than physical structures to thrive. Strong infrastructure, roads, and sidewalks are necessary parts; a baseline to be attained. Working with city hall to fix potholes adds balance to an environment. Safety is preeminent to balanced living. We’re engaged with the city council to drive public safety, place new lighting on properties, and provide children with access to quality education. Bellwood spearheaded the introduction of a new charter school on the Westside and continues to advocate for students. Diverse, attainable, competitively priced housing on the Westside requires a disciplined approach to building. We shall bring new housing to neighborhoods.
This is the beginning. Our vision is long term – to achieve enduring positive impact by building homes by building opportunity and connection to people. As the Westside blossoms, it’s a vision we can achieve together.
